End of Year Give Away!
To end the year on a high note I am giving away two of my new prints: dress judy and small iron.
In 2011 I'd like to expand my company and make more products so to be eligible for the draw please add a comment to this posting suggesting something you'd like to see me produce next year. Tshirts? Tea towels? Rugs?
Lemme know! I'm looking forward to your comments.
Two winners will be chosen at random on January 10th.
Please provide an email address so that I contact you if your name is chosen.
Good luck!

Love your prints - so I would say prints (of course), but a nice table runner would look great in my dining room ;-)
Happy New Year!
I think your designs will look very nice on some sort of placemats, even plastic, not textiles. I would totally use one - not for a dining room table, but as a working mat - to cut, paint, work with polymer plaster on it. Crafters would love something like this.
Also - have a happy new year and I would love to make a closer acquaintance with this little iron :)
What about embroidery kits... well, that might not be a huge money maker but I would totally buy one. Also, have you thought about dishes? I will send along pictures of things I saw in London that made me think of you.
Ooh - pick me, pick me. I so adore dress judy and the little iron would look so cute in my laundry room once it's remodeled. I agree with Kate, your prints on dessert plates would be so nice at a tea.
Your prints on tea towels would be sweet!
I love your scissors prints in the workroom's windows!
Wrapping paper with your different designs as repeating patterns! Especially that iron!
I love the dress judy - it's such a sweet print!
I think you should do a line of totes and scarves in the new year!
How about tote bags?? And pillows! Love your work!
Love your work!!! I like the idea of pillows & tote bags, bags for travel, ie: for clean & dirty clothes, etc.
I think it would be good to reach the group of people who really appreciate art & would love to buy a pricy piece, but can't afford it...so something like note cards or tote bags. Even small pendants with little prints on it waould be super cute!!! Clothing, like t-shirts are of course cute. I have a 3-year old & I think some designs for kids shorts would be SUPER cute & I'm sure would be big sellers!
I absolutely LOVE your work!
t-shirts, yes! and greeting cards/postcards, especially in sets. i would love those.
happy new year to you!
:)
I love your prints, especially the scissors! Tea towels would be lovely or perhaps some cloth napkins?
Oh, my, tote bags. Yes! I know that a few comments before mine have said the exact same thing, but I'll go on and agree.
Also, really sturdy canvas bags that could work as grocery bags. And pencil zipper cases with the much-loved scissor print. Oh, now I'm excited to see what 2011 brings.
Dress Judy is quite awesome!
Fabric, fabric, fabric! Oh I can see the scissors repeat on linen worked up into great pillows or upholstered on a cool 50's era government issue office chair for the studio! Looking forward to watching for new, creative directions for your work as 2011 unfolds - thank you.
I want to see bedsheets at Target or Ikea!
Or a tattoo!
T-shirts, definitely t-shirts. A boxed set of prints would also be lovely. Thanks for all your great work.
I have tried to go online to buy your iron print. I hope I win! I agree with others that you should print fabric to be used for pillows, pellets, skirts...so awesome!
I would love to see your beautiful prints in a fabric line. Whatcha think? I'd love it!
I love the window display you did for the workroom! I think napkins, table runners or maybe you could silk screen your prints on to pottery.
Wrapping paper would be great! Tea towels or dishes, also.
I think your illustrations would make fantastic t-shirts! I love to see something for a dining room. Something as simple as a wine glass or menu from a favorite restaurant. Happy New Year!
Let me count the many ways...
-boxed notecards, stationary
-calendar
-cloth napkins, tea towels, apron
-large scarves thin wool or cotton
-canvas throw pillow
-resuseable canvas shopping tote
-oilcloth tablecloth for outdoor use
I adore your prints and treasure the one I have!
Happy New Year, and happy blogging!
Tracie
Happy New year! I would love to see your prints on:
1. ceramics - mugs, plates, jugs,or even jars to hold sewing or laundrey supplies.
2. textiles, curtain panels (oh would so love this!), cloth blinds, tea towels, hand towels, etc.
3. note cards
Others have said it before, but I'll say it again: note cards and tote bags. Your work is such eye candy and not everyone that would like to feast on it at home can afford a signed print. Both items also provide an opportunity to share and or introduce your work to others simply by virtue of being used.
Okay, now I'm crossing my fingers....
While I love EVERYTHING you've done, I have to say I wouldn't mind seeing some wall vinyls---which would be way different than the prints you currently produce, but still. Could you imagine your curly coffee cups all over a kitchen wall as vinyl? I can, and I'm drooling.
I'm also repeating, but I think tea towels and pillows would be adorable!!
I just got married and we are starting to decorate our first home together--your designs have the perfect vintage/whimsical feel that we have been searching for. I would love to see your prints as wallpaper, pillows, and even shower curtains. Someone mentioned fabric, which would be an amazing idea---we inherited some furniture from grandparents and your prints would look fantastic on a re-upholstered chair.
I'm also i favour of fabric--I'd love to make studio or kitchen curtains with your prints. Tote bags, aprons, table linens...all of these would make me happy!
Happy New Year Alanna!
I love the iron print and look forward to seeing what 2011 brings :)
think your work would look ace on tote bags, tea towels, linen bags....the list is endless!
I think that your prints and designs would look amazing on dishes. Tea cups, saucers, tea pots, plates, bowls, mugs...you name it! You could do different sets for all your print series. They would all look fantastic and so unique!!

I would love to see your creations on all kinds of everything!! I think note cards, totes, throw cushions & tea towels would be lovely!
Wishing you a very Happy New Year!
This may sound silly, but your illustrations always make me smile and your blog is one of my 'happy places'! Thank you.
I think that your prints would look great on aprons. I love to wear aprons and get many compliments on the unique ones I have.
Fingers crossed for the draw. I'm an Alanna Cavanagh print virgin!

So fun!! Yippee

tea towels are super sweet. hope you get to that!
I'd love to see your designs on fabric! And if you did it on something like Spoonflower, we could all purchase them!
No need to enter me into the draw Alanna ;)
Hi! I think your prints would look great on wallpaper. Or bed linens. They could be fun as linens in a baby's nursery, too!
Wishing you health and happiness in 2011!
I love the idea of tea towels. Or stationary. Calendars, notecards and notebooks too.
